What is the FosterClub Outstanding Young Leader Award?

This award recognizes young leaders who have demonstrated resilience, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference. Whether you’ve initiated community projects, advocated for foster care reform, or supported fellow foster youth, your efforts can now be celebrated and honored.🌟

Who is eligible to apply?

• Young People aged 18-26 as of August 2, 2024
• Experienced foster care at any time, as demonstrated by living with a foster family, relatives (kinship care), experienced adoption, reunification, or stayed in a group home residential facility, you’re eligible to apply

What do you receive as an award recipient?

• A Special Invitation to a Celebration Event: Join fellow Outstanding Young Leaders at a special online event dedicated to celebrating your achievements.
• Exclusive Access to FosterClub Training for Lived Experience Leadership: Grow your skills, build your resume, and become an even stronger advocate for change!
• Membership in the FosterClub LEx Leader Network: You’ll have a chance to connect  with other like-minded LEx LEaders from across the nation, plus you’ll receive invitations to opportunities (which sometimes includes travel to places like Washington DC!).
