We’re super excited to announce that we’ve welcomed 16 amazing young leaders as our 2024 FosterClub AllStar Interns! These awesome individuals have been through foster care themselves and are ready to make a big difference and inspire their peers all over the country.
About the AllStar Internship
The FosterClub AllStar Internship believes young people who’ve experienced foster care know best how to help others in the same situation. AllStars are recognized as national leaders, and their powerful stories help improve the foster care system, making life better for other youth still in care.
Internship Overview
The AllStar internship is a six-week program that mixes professional and personal development. Interns spend two weeks training in person in Oregon and four weeks training online. During the internship, AllStars get leadership training, help other youth transitioning out of care, educate their peers and professionals, and change public perceptions about foster youth at conferences and events.

The AllStar Interns are supported by two Coaches, both of whom previously served as AllStars and wanted to come back to help other lived experience leaders grow their peer support and system change skills.
